What will AGI do for Abdominal Scan Triage?
Emergency department radiologists confront massive, unsorted queues of abdominal CT and ultrasound scans. Patients routinely present with non-specific abdominal pain, prompting defensive and high-volume imaging orders from attending physicians. Because nearly all ED scans are marked as urgent, the reading worklist defaults to a chronological queue rather than sorting by actual clinical severity.
