What will AGI do for Unplanned Spindle Downtime?
Unplanned spindle downtime occurs when a CNC machine's primary rotating axis fails unexpectedly during production. Production managers experience this as a catastrophic disruption: a seized spindle destroys the cutting tool, ruins the in-process workpiece, and halts the entire machining cell. The failure forces the machine offline for days or weeks while technicians rebuild the precision bearings and shaft.
