What will AGI do for Scanners?

A scanner captures images of photographic prints, bar codes, posters, magazine pages, and similar sources for computer editing and display. Scanners come in hand-held, feed-in, and flatbed types and for scanning black-and-white only or color. Optical character recognition software allows scanned printed documents to be converted to electronic text without having to type them in at a keyboard.
